Mount Albert residents are concerned a major residential development on Auckland's Carrington Road could cause huge strain on local infrastructure and access to amenities.
Over the next decade more than 4,000 homes are destined for the almost 40 hectare site seven kilometres from the CBD.
Proposed changes to the unitary plan that local residents were notified about last month could allow some buildings to be up to 72 metres.
