Deputy PM: discount going on road user charges on 31 Jan

From First Up, 5:44 am on 15 December 2022

People will pay another 25 cents a litre on fuel from the end of March 2023 after the government yesterday announed an end to the petrol tax cut. Half-price public transport fees will also end at that time, while the discount to road user charges will end as planned on 31 January the 31st. Our producer Matthew Theunissen discussed this with the finance and deputy prime minister Grant Robertson, but he started by asking about the Prime Minister calling Act Party leader David Seymour an "arrogrant prick" in Parliament... a remark that's made headlines around the world. Is that a label he'd apply to Mr Seymour?
