Former Labour Minister Kiri Allan on retiring Grant Robertson

To politics, and Grant Robertson has announced he'll leave Parliament to take up the Vice Chancellor role at Otago University. The outgoing Labour MP and former Finance and Deputy Prime Minister says he'll leave politics most proud of how he managed the economy through the Covid-19 pandemic. But that wasn't Robertson's only responsibility. He was also a Sports Minister who helped improve and support more women's and girls participation in sport.
