Downhill skateboarding: Elissa Mah has the need for speed

If the snow season doesnt hit this year we might have found the solution, Downhill Skateboarding! Christchurch's Elissah Mah represented New Zealand at last month's World Downhill Skateboarding Championships in the Philippines, and came third in the elite women's class. The 33-year-old told sports reporter Joe Porter, riders reached speeds of more than 80kph on the course and they can clock 100kph on other tracks.
