1500 LOTR fans run in 3rd annual Middle Earth Halfling Marathon

One race, one race to rule them all. Fifteen hundred Lord of the Rings fans from 26 countries are converging on Matamata tomorrow to run in a unique sold-out race - the third annual Middle-earth Halfling Marathon. They'll be traversing the rolling hills of the Hobbiton Village, many dressed in costume, racing for the finish line like Frodo running for Mordoor. Leonard Powell, the Sam Wise Gamgee of our First Up crew, went into the fires of Facebook to track down a few Hobbit-Heads making the trip.
