Convoy protest doomed to fail - Minto
Veteran protestor John Minto says the Freedom Convoy lacks a strategy and an objective and is therefore bound to fail.  We're in our third night of protestors camping out on the lawn at Parliament and clogging up the surrounding streets with their vehicles.  Police have put out a statement this evening saying they will continue to have a presence at Parliament into the night ...and as long as necessary to ensure public safety... Karyn talks to John Minto.

Civil Defence updates flooding in Westport
Civil Defence in Westport is closely watching the Buller River, after high tide hit at 7pm. Floodwaters have cut off the town today,prompting a state of emergency to be declared as homes were inundated. More than 60 residents have already been moved to higher ground.  
Westport residents evacuated last week were warned to prepare to evacuate yet again. Civil Defence Controller Sean Judd has the latest.

Art dispensed from a vending machine
Vending machines usually have a selection of drinks, snacks and ... personal items What about art from a vending machine?  In Christchurch, New Zealand's first ART vending machine has been installed at the Christchurch Art's Centre and for 6 bucks you'll get an orginal artwork. Christchurch City Council arts adviser Zara Potts arranged for the machines to be brought out from Germany.
