Update on the Bromley Big Stink

We have the very latest on The Big Stink in Bromley - the Christchurch suburb where locals turned out in force for a community meeting tonight to hear from Christchurch Mayor Liane Dalziel and other councillors and council staff about the sewage and other pongs plaguing their neighbourhood. Damian Elley has his home and business in the area, and is one of many residents fed up with the sickening stench and what locals see as a lack of urgency by the authorities to do anything about it. He's worried about the environmental impact as well as the health and wellbeing consequences ..and is wondering if the awful odours weren't stinking out Christchurch East, but some of the city's more affluent suburbs, it might be a different story.
