Small businesses unable to pay rent on commerical leases have been given a lifeline.
From today, commercial tenants and their landlords who cannot reach agreement on how much rent to pay will go to compulsory arbitration.
Emma Fraser from Allure Nail Salon in Tauranga told the Epidemic Response Committee nearly two months ago that the Government needed to sort this problem.
