Big Day Out successor releases second offering

For years the Big Day Out was an annual pilgrimage for music fans and the one-day musical marathon has been missed since the demise of the franchise in 2014. Auckland City Limits filled the gap in 2016 but was conspicuously absent in 2017- something organiser Campbell Smith says was "in order to make sure the line up was right, and ensure the festivals ongoing stability". This morning they have made the first announcement for the 2018 festival. Alex Behan from RNZ's Music 101 has the details.
