Curran says nothing improper about her message to RNZ chair

From Morning Report, 6:40 am on 4 April 2018

The Prime Minister says it would have been better if someone other than the Broadcasting Minister, Clare Curran, had contacted the RNZ chair Richard Griffin over his dealings with a parliamentary select committee. Mr Griffin and RNZ's chief executive, Paul Thompson, are due to appear before the committee tomorrow to correct the record about a breakfast meeting between Ms Curran and a former senior RNZ executive, Carol Hirschfeld. Ms Curran told reporters her only objective was to get the parliamentary record corrected as soon as possible.
