Electorate responds to Clare Curran demotion
Clare Curran's constituents are giving her top marks as a local MP, but generally back the Prime Minister's decision to kick her out of Cabinet. The Dunedin South MP was stripped of her digital media and open government portfolios last week, after again failing to mark a significant meeting in her diary. Jacinda Ardern said the failure - the second of its kind - was unacceptable for a Minister at the Cabinet table. Political reporter Gia Garrick had a look around the electorate, starting at Ms Curran's electorate office on King Edward's Road.
