North Shore readies for Royal gumboot toss

From Morning Report, 8:55 am on 30 October 2018

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will face an unusual challenge this morning that's quintessential New Zealand - a round of gumboot throwing. Harry and Meghan are due to visit the North Shore in Auckland to dedicate a 20-hectare area of native bush to the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy. They will then join children in a throwing contest. Mike Jebson is chief executive of the QEII National Trust, and a gumboot throw judge.
