Employment relations changes: 'Common sense has prevailed'
Businesses are welcoming changes to the Employment Relations Bill, saying "common sense has prevailed". The bill now lays out that employers are under no obligation to settle agreements, and that union representatives will only have unfettered access to workplaces where there is collective bargaining underway.
