Huawei kept in dark over GCSB concerns - Andrew Bowater

The Chinese tech company Huawei is seeking an urgent meeting with the government over the blocking of Spark's bid to use Huawei to develop its 5G network. The government's spy agency the GCSB says using the company's equipment for this would raise significant national security risks. Huawei says it's had no contact with the GCSB, the Goverment or any officials about why its been barred. It's deputy managing director, Andrew Bowater, says the company has been kept in the dark.
