Employers may make KiwiSaver contributions for over-65s

From Morning Report, 6:09 am on 21 May 2019

The government is looking at changing the rules to force employers to make Kiwisaver contributions to over-65 year olds who are still working.
Those who choose to work after they reach retirement age can keep paying into their Kiwisaver fund but their employer can choose whether or not they want to keep putting money in. At a Grey Power conference on Monday, in response to a question about Kiwisaver, the deputy Prime Minister told the crowd that wasn't right.
