Boris Johnson leads UK leadership race

Boris Johnson is way out in front in the race to lead the British Conservative Party and replace Theresa May as Prime Minister, after all 313 Conservative MPs voted in the first ballot.

Mr Johnson received 114 votes, Jeremy Hunt ws second with 43 and Michael Gove was third with 37 votes.

Seven candidates now progress to the next stage of voting.
