'I'd take' information on rivals from foreign govt - Trump

President Donald Trump says he would listen if a foreign government approached him with damaging information about a political rival - and wouldn't necessarily report the contact to the FBI.

That stance has put him at odds with national security professionals within his own administration - considering Russian interference into the 2016 election was the subject of a two-year long inquiry by special counsel Robert Mueller.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the President clearly didn't know right from wrong. We're joined now by our correspondent in Washington, Simon Marks.
