Death threats, abuse as visa delay frustrations grow

Immigration advisers says they are facing abuse and death threats as a result of what they describe as a crisis at Immigration New Zealand.

A rise in applications from the end of 2018 have left people waiting for up to seven months for visas.

The vice-president of the Licensed Immigration Advisers for New Zealand in India, Munish Sekhri, told RNZ immigration reporter Gill Bonnett better communication would be a start.
