Boris Johnson, the front-runner in the race to become Britain's next Prime Minister, is facing mounting calls to explain an incident involving his partner at his London home last week.
A neighbour called the police after hearing a loud altercation involving screaming, shouting and banging coming from the flat Mr Johnson shares with his partner Carrie Symonds.
At a campaign event, Mr Johnson told the moderator Iain Dale that Conservative Party members were not interested in the matter.
