Government funding to fill international student gap misses the mark for some

Disappointing, just a band-aid, missing the point - it seems the government's international student lifeline for the education sector is missing the pass mark.

A $51 million fund has been pledged to state and private language schools that are struggling without fee-paying international students that they've come to rely on.

The sector says it's not much and it would rather have a timeline on when foreign students will return.
