Māori health experts worried NZ not ready for Omicron

The Ministry of Health has admitted the traffic light system may need to be strengthened in the face of an Omicron Covid-19 outbreak. 

The Government's due to share its plans for how it will deal with the variant in the coming weeks.

Yesterday the Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield told Morning Report the traffic light system, which is based on vaccination certificates, was less suited to Omicron.
