The Silver Ferns have claimed their first win of the Quad Series, beating South Africa 54-43 in London this morning.
It follows two losses for New Zealand to both England and Australia.
The Quad Series tournament is the team's final chance to prepare ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
