Kiri Allan not expecting big increase in cyclone death toll

The East Coast MP Kiri Allan says she is not expecting a big increase in the number of people killed by the cyclone as people still wait to hear whether their whānau are safe in Hawkes Bay and Tai Rāwhiti. 

About 2,500 people are currently unable to be contacted. 

So far, 11 people are known to have died - but that number could climb. 

Kiri Allan told Corin Dann authorities have been working day and night to locate people.
