A bad batch of jet fuel in Wellington means planes flying in and out of the airport are limited to 80 percent of what they usually use.
The Board of Airline Representatives says airlines were advised this would be the case until at least midnight this Friday after a bad batch of fuel arrived in the capital city a week ago.
It's being supplemented by extra fuel being brought in from Auckland at a cost to the airlines involved.
