Measles has closed an Auckland secondary school while health officials work to identify close contacts of the case.
Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand says a student was at Albany Senior High School while infectious with measles on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April.
The school is closed for a teachers' only day today but will also be closed Friday.
The National Public Health Service's Dr William Rainger told me a short time ago the student with measles is at home isolating and their household contacts are as well.
