A health leader says a new plan aimed at reducing pressure on hospitals is the country's first comprehensive health strategy.
The so-called Winter Plan was unveiled by Health Minister Ayesha Verrall yesterday.
The Te Whatu Ora national clinical director for commissioning, Dr Allan Moffitt, says it'll help both hospitals and primary care.
He spoke with Corin Dann.
