Chris Hipkins has announced the free trade agreement between New Zealand and the United Kingdom will come into force at the end of the month.
The Prime Minister made the announcement after meeting overnight with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at 10 Downing Street.
It will eventually eliminate tariffs on all kiwi exports to the country.
Chris Hipkins told reporters both exporters and the wider economy will benefit.
