Germany has pledged a further $4.7 billion worth of military aid to Ukraine, during a visit by president Volodymyr Zelenskyy's to Berlin.
President Zelenskyy thanked the German chancellor Olaf Scholz for the protection of his country.
The military aid package includes 30 Leopard 1 A5 tanks, 20 Marder armoured personnel carriers, and 200 reconnaissance drones.
