Some residents remain unaccounted for after a large fire in a 92-room hostel in Wellington overnight.
Fire and Emergency received a phone call at 12:25pm alerting to them to the fire at Loafers Lodge on the Adelaide Road in Newtown 5 people have been taken to hospital and the fire is still burning.
25 appliances are at still at the site, with police and ambulance services assisting them at the scene.
Morning Report producer, Denise Garland, was at the site overnight and spoke with Corin Dann.
