Investigations continue this morning into the deadly fire at Wellington's Loafers Lodge.
The blaze killed at least six people and others are still missing.
Dozens of people who lived in the building have been displaced. One resident is in hospital, but in a stable condition.
Police have been guarding the scene overnight with fire fighters on hand to douse any flare ups.
Adelaide Road is closed, and a number of nearby streets are blocked to through traffic - although residents will be allowed in and out.
