Dairy farmers and others in Whangarei are bracing for yet more heavy rain today.
Metservice has issued a severe weather watch that could result in heavy rain in Northland, Auckland, Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Westland and Southland.
Whangarei Deputy Mayor Phil Halse, who is also a dairy farmer, says his region has already been hammered by rain and they don't want more.
He spoke with Ingrid Hipkiss.
