The Republican Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, is expected to announce his run for the presidency live on Twitter.
A spokesperson for Mr DeSantis' office said he and Twitter owner Elon Musk will hold an event on Twitter Spaces at 10am (NZT), and DeSantis will officially kick off his campaign.
It will be the first time a presidential candidate has launched their run on the platform.
