German prosecutors say a number of items recovered in searches last week may be linked to the Madeleine McCann case, but haven't been confirmed as evidence.
The searches took place around a reservoir in Portugal, at the request of German investigators.
German police have issued a statement confirming convicted sex offender Christian Bruckner is still a suspect in the three-year-old's disappearance in 2007.
