Do New Zealanders need to have more babies?
As our nation's birth-rate steadily declines, National Party leader Christopher Luxon yesterday joked that perhaps if we started having more babies, we'd have more workers available in the future.
All in good humour of course, but with birth control readily available and increasing numbers of people choosing not to have children in our country, what is actually going on inside our declining birthing numbers?
