If you were in the Auckland suburb of Massey on Sunday, you might have noticed another freak weather event - snow.
While the heavens didn't exactly open with soft white snow, truckloads of powder could be found at Royal Reserve.
Snow in the Park is an event funded by the Henderson Massey Local Board, and hundreds turned out to have a go at tobogganing down the snowy slope.
