Russian president Vladimir Putin has appeared outside the Kremlin to tell members of Russia's security services that they "essentially prevented a civil war" over the weekend, when an armed mutiny marched on Moscow.
In a separate meeting with his security forces, President Putin confirmed Wagner security, which was responsible for the mutiny, were entirely funded by the Russian state.
