Principals are worried about changes to the way the Education Ministry allocates millions of dollars for children with high needs.
From next term Auckland schools will get In Class Support based on their past allocations, instead of applying on behalf of each student they believe needs it.
Principals say that will hide the huge level of unmet demand and risks missing children who need support.
