More and more small business owners are feeling the pinch from their power bills.
A survey carried out by the Consumer Advocacy Council has found just under 30 percent of small businesses say electricity costs are putting pressure on their finances.
The council has also found that about two thirds of residents surveyed are worried about the power network coping with extreme weather off the back of Cyclone Gabrielle and the Auckland floods.
