Fiji won 22-15, after taking the lead in the first half with four penalty kicks.
They followed that up with an early try in the second half, keeping their lead until the final whistle.
A couple of other Pacific Island teams played their first games yesterday with Tonga losing to Ireland 59 to 16, while Samoa smashed Chile 43-10 And let's not forget the All Blacks swept Namibia under the rug on Saturday by 71-3.
