The humanitarian arm of the Roman Catholic Church is calling for an immediate ceasefire in Israel and occupied Palestinian territories.
The local branch, Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand, says attacks on civilians must stop, and a humanitarian corridor must be opened for the supply of water, food, medicines and essential supplies to reach civilians in need in Gaza.
