Microbiologist Siouxsie Wiles and the University of Auckland are disputing how much of her work talking about Covid-19 was done as a celebrity, rather than an academic.
The associate professor is taking legal action against her employer, alleging the university did not do enough to ensure her safety as harassment against her escalated.
