The police incident controller on the day of the Christchurch terror attacks says he was shouting out to his staff to pass on critical information to ambulance dispatchers - but never checked that the messages had got through.
Senior Sergeant Roy Appley told the inquest into the 51 deaths, he did not walk to the room next door to check with his St John counterparts.
