Sam Altman sacked from Open AI

Two days ago, one of the most high-profile figures in artificial intelligence, Sam Altman, was abruptly ousted from his position as chief executive of Open AI, the company behind Chat GPT.

Altman's sacking came as a shock to Silicon Valley - but 48 hours later there are now reports of moves to get him reinstated to the tech company that is worth around USD$90 billion.
