That's the sound of the winners of the 2024 NZ Pipe Band Championships, the Canterbury Caledonian Society Pipe Band, performing on Saturday afternoon.
About 1500 people took part in the competition, held in Auckland at the weekend, with thousands more watching and supporting the players.
The annual event is the largest pipe band festival outside of Scotland.
Liam Kernaghan is on the board of the Royal New Zealand Pipe Band Association, and was on the judging panel.
Kernaghan spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
