Labour leader Chris Hipkins on response to China's cyberattack

The Government says it isn't planning to invoke sanctions against China after confirming that a cyberattack involving the republic targeted two parliamentary agencies.

Foreign Minister Winston Peters says the country's concerns over the 2021 incidents have been conveyed to the Chinese government.

In response, an embassy representative in Wellington denounced the allegations as "groundless and irresponsible".
