Sir Bryan Williams - the grandfather of Pacific rugby in NZ - will be formally inducted into the inaugural Pasifika Rugby Hall of Fame Thursday night.
The ceremony at Eden Park will name and celebrate Sir Bryan and six other legendary Pasifika rugby players including Peter Fatialofa, and Jonah Lomu.
Sir Bryan says it's a great initiative to recognise Pasifika players and their significant contributions over the last 40 or 50 years.
Sir Bryan spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
