A rugby coach whose team van was shot at after a match in Hastings says there was "serious provocation" at the grounds from people on the sideline.
Shots were fired into a van carrying the Young Māori Party team as it left Tamatea Rugby Club on Saturday, after the match was abandoned due to safety concerns.
Guy Taylor, coach of the Young Māori Party team, was driving the van.
Taylor spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
