Musical Chairs - Toni Huata

Toni Huata's debut album "Te Maori E" is dedicated to her late grandfather, Te Okanga Huata who was also a fine composer and gifted orator. Inspired by a cassette which included many of her grandfather's past koorero Toni has incorporated his words on most of the 16 tracks on Te Maori E, as well as blending jazz, dub, jungle, flamenco, classical and poi into her original compositions, which are all in Maori.
