Bennie Maupin

Detroit woodwind player Bennie Maupin is one of the few masters of the bass clarinet. He also gave the haunting flavour to Miles Davis Bitches Brew, and is a member of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters. He speaks to Radio New Zealand Concert's Eva Radich.
