Punches

As well as collaborating with SJD and releasing solo material, Auckland musician James Duncan is in a duo called Punches. Duncan and bandmate Kelly Sherrod (nee Steven) released one EP back in 2006, which they promised they'd follow up shortly... but life interrupted, and Kelly moved to Nashville. The duo have been beavering away over the ether though, and have just released their debut LP 'Etheria'. Music Mix host Nick Atkinson invited James into Radio New Zealand's Auckland studios so he could call Kelly... but James's shyness almost got the better of him.
